RG,

Unfortunately, you may be sabotaging the rest of your healthy DSP eating by eating boca burgers - they are processed and contain soy. Check out the part of the manual pertaining to vegetarians for other meal ideas.

I am vegi person and have dairy allergies, I struggle to consume enough protein daily and eat Boca bugers, morning star vegi sausage patties, I am sure these are considered processed food and bad. I live in rural Idaho and the nearest super market that contains 'Food' is 150 miles away (0ne-way). So when I go to the real 'Food' store I try to stock up.I live in a world of W.Family foods, processed foods, high sugars, and very old vegis and fruits, but alcohol is plentiful! =) My question is if I eat bocas, or vegi patti 2-3 times a week am I screwing up? Rice cakes and pnutbutter is a daily and try to do tuna 2 a week (in water) fish, well, not much in the stores here. Plenty of beef! I eat a lot of rice and beans 3times a wk. Eating is such a chore I eat only to fill the gap. I have food allergies, mushrooms, squash, meat ( kills my guts),and dairy. Once in awhile I will have an egg or some butter on something, i get ill for a day, but...if only there was a pill I could take 3 times a day and feel full. My mt fluctuates and at times loose too much wt. and the muscle goes too. UGH!Then there are time when potatoes and pasta is all I crave, so my wt increases...mostly I am stable, but struggle to stay there! Belly bulg is my main goal to rid but only happens when i lose too much wt. I exercise daily walk 1-3 miles daily, Qi Gong 2 x's a wk, and work outdoor daily. I am not a sugar fan and love my teas...don't take my soy burgers away...lol help

Hey Mia,
I mean anything that contains sugar, either naturally or added. All the foods you mentioned above are part of that group.
Definitely have patience with the back pain. It should get better shortly!

Hey Isabel, great post and finally something to inspire me to try out the Elimination Diet by Dax Moy! But what exactly do you mean by sugar from any source? Fruit? Honey? Agave nectar? And Cheddar cheese? Just cheddar or all hard matured cheeses?
My back still hurts after two weeks of the diet, but the pain didn't appear overnight so I don't expect it to disappear just like that. Overall I feel so light and clear!
