Wow i have been doing that but i think it works much better with warm water when you take it as you first drink in the morning.

I drink a glass of room temp. waterr with a tbspn of Eden organic apple cider vinegar, this one comes in a brown bottle and it’s aged in wood. Taste is amazing!

@ Robert, I use Organic Blue Agave, supposed to be very low on the glycemic scale. whats your take?

For those who can work out, I sugget the Tabata method. Takes 4 minutes and it’s the hardest 4 minutes you’ve ever spent. Cant use HTML so google it.

I can’t wait to try it! :) I’m only a teenager so i don’t want to lose to much weight because i know that it’s not healthy to do so. However i’m a good weight (according to my doc.) but i’m not the most fit girl in the world. I play volleyball for my school, would this give me more energy to play volleyball while keeping burning fat?

Just getting started…I absolutely love the Special K Strawberry Kiwi Protein water mix. Is it a no-no?

  18. Jul 29 2010

Debby, I wouldn’t recommend using that. There are a lot of additives in it.

  19. Jul 29 2010

Amy, the DSP could definitely help you have more energy for athletics. Eating foods with lots of sugar and other additives can bring your energy level down in a big way. Eating healthily the DSP way could be just what you need!

  20. Jul 29 2010

Mae, most people start to feel a difference almost immediately. The weight comes off differently for everyone though – there is no set amount of time.

Is caffeine not allowed on this diet because of it’s affect on fat loss?

  22. Jul 30 2010

I recently lost 80 pounds since oct. 6, 2009. I did it under medical supervision, but was looking for a “rest of my life” healthy food eating plan when I came across this online. I am 58 and exercise to a walk at home fat burning tape 1 to 5 miles 5 days a week. I can’t do squats, etc. because of my knees. This is what started me on the lose weight kick and I am so glad that I have. Will let you know how things are going when all my books come it. Thanks

I am allergic to dairy. Are there any non dairy protein powders? How can I substitute for cheese in recipes?

  27. TheDietSolution
    Aug 9 2010

Actually, Mary, for the most part, I recommend staying away from dairy altogether. Being allergic to dairy gives you an automatic reason to do that.

Looks really good. I’m wondering about dairy.
I really like yogurt from the co-op or health food store. In fact it is usually breakfast with a health food granola, nuts fruit and non gluten grains. Also I like the same in different flavors for a snack or pick me up. No hi fruct corn syrup or art sweetners!
    what do you think? Sue

  31. TheDietSolution
    Aug 25 2010

Sue, make sure you’re paying attention to the ingredients. Flavored yogurts tend to have artificial flavoring in them. Plain yogurt is the best way to go – then (like you said) just add some fruit to give it that extra taste!
