3 Easy Tips To Lose Fat
Fat loss does not have to be difficult, especially if you have a few tricks up your sleeve. By this I don’t mean I would ever want you to take a dangerous, radical approach to your fat loss but only one that would be healthy and prove great results at the same time.
I have had many clients, friends and family members ask me, “Isabel, is there a way I can drop my first few pounds of fat quickly and easily?” Yes, there is. It will require a few dietary changes on your part, but the results are incredible. I have had hundreds of people use these tips with great success, easily losing their first 10-15lbs of unwanted fat.
Here are my 3 Simple and Easy Fat Loss Rules:
1. Don’t eat anything that is white. Name every single food that is white and chances are you shouldn’t be eating it: bread, pasta, crackers, most cereals, flour based products, white potatoes, white rice, and pasteurized dairy and cheese are all no-no’s during this time. (Healthy foods like cauliflower, chicken, turkey, fish, white pork are all exceptions to this rule).
2. Only drink water, NOTHING else! How about coffee? Just to keep any possible withdrawal headaches at bay, one small cup of organic black coffee. Can you add half and half?…Well is it white? Drink a minimum of 1/2 of your bodyweight in ounces of water each day (ex. If you weigh 200 lbs, you need to drink 100 ounces) to really see the fat fall off.
3. Don’t eat anything with the word wheat in the ingredients list. What if it’s whole wheat? Look, if the word starts with W and ends in T and has the letters h e a in between, you can’t eat it. This includes bread, pasta, crackers and cereal. Many packaged snack foods also contain wheat so be sure to read the ingredients list carefully.
Are you up for this challenge? Apply these easy fat loss rules to your own eating plan for the next 2 weeks and I know you will be seeing some amazing fat loss results in no time.

hey am 14 years old boy and i would like to lose weight ( food ) and am Emirati which means half of our traditional food is with sweet so if u give me some advice it will be helpful
Steps 1, 2 and 3 looks to me like a low carb diet!
Cut out bread, wheat, pasta, white rice etc. These are high carb foods. Obviously you believe cutting down or out carbs loses weight!
The diet is low in carbs that turn into sugar. There are plenty of good carbs you can have in this diet. You have to look for sprouted wheat products that do not contain flour. (pasta, bread, wraps, bagels, etc.) and you can trade white potatoes for sweet potatoes. I lost 3 pounds the first week and i dont ever have a bloated or weighed down feeling anymore.
I’ve tried this in one form or another many times. It works if you do it, stick to it and and combine it with exercise.
Note: the link to the free starter kit doesn’t work.
Thanks
Steve
I have a 10 year old girl who is over weight and I need help to get her weight off without her suffering and feeling deprived….please any imformation for children losing weight.
than you Stephanie
Dear Isabel,
I was intrigued to note that you have a category “Neurotic Nutritionist in the Real World”. Are you admitting to neurotic behaviour or does a third party comment on neurotic behaviour from Nutritionists?
I am lobbying the Australian Government to consider withholding accreditation from Nutritionist and Dietition Associations who do not discourage their Members from neurotic behaviour. Nutrition is too important not to be taken seriously. Problems like obesity, with associated health problems, Environmental issues, Economic issues, Sourcing food regionally, etc. need to be addressed.
Thank you for your interest.
Kindest Regards,
B.S.Milliner.
Please check your email.
Brian, thanks so much for your consideration. We are actually removing “neurotic” from our site.
Stephanie, while diets tend to be unhealthy for children to follow, the Diet Solution Program is not a diet – it is a healthier way of eating. Your daughter can follow the DSP without suffering or feeling deprived. Just let her know that you and she will be eating healthier from now on.
Hi I am a 57 yr old woman, 5ft tall. I have been thin most of my life but the last 10 yrs or so I have had a yo yo problem. I have an underacted thyroid and during the last 6 months I have gone from a size 10 to small 14. The weight seems different to any weight problem I have ever had. Normally the weight would be stomach (below belly button) hips, thighs etc. This time it is above the belly button and I have tried to eat more healthy but it is still increasing. The fat is quiet solid and is getting worse. I have joined the gym but does not seem to make any difference. The only difference in life style is that I have not been working since last year and not doing any housework because of a car accident. Although when I was in hospital I eat everything going and actually kept losing weight. Any suggestions.
Philomena,
I highly suggest you talk to your doctor about your underactive thyroid. I would also recommend you follow the no-grains section in the diet manual. That may help. Again, I would definitely talk to your doctor about the thyroid problem.
Isabel
Isabel,
What is the difference between rice and wheat? Why is rice better (as discussed in your flash presentation )? Also does this comparison hold the same with Japanese rice?
Thanks,
Chris
I bought The Diet Solution program and it has been going great. I have just been having trouble finding recipes. I like simple foods that do not require a great deal of time in the kitchen (due to my work schedule). What other resources/cookbooks/or websites would you recommend to find simple recipes? Oh…I also have bought the urban cooking book but there were not many recipes and only a few sounded good.
Please email.
Thanks.
without rice and wheat what can we eat, i dont know what to eat
All the information you need is in The Diet Solution Program manual. The manual not only goes into detail about the different food groups and what is recommended for consumption, but it also includes a Meal Plan designed to give you a starting point for your personal eating.
Hey Kim, you can take a recipe from anywhere (website, cookbook, magazine, etc.) and make it DSP-approved by substituting some ingredients. Isabel tells you how to do this in one of her blog posts: http://www.thedietsolutionprogram.com/blog/a-great-way-to-have-unlimited-diet-solution-recipes/
Thank u so much for your kind information
Question re: cheese…what about non-dairy versions i.e., goat cheese/other?
Hi
I did not understand why all foods that contain wheat is bad. Is wheat promots gain weight?
Because i know that a lot of runners get their carbo from pasta, and the Chines people consume large quantities of white rice (and they not obese or fat) and the white potato actually saved the lives of people from Eourope in the history.
Bread and pasta actually the cheapest thing in the market.
Can you help me to understand the bad things in wheat?
I wonder if the recipies are able to satisfy a mexican taste.
Needing some clarification on wheat. the program is stating no wheat, but it saying that spelt bread is fine. The spelt bread I have says that it is made from “100% Whole Grain Spelt Flour (Wheat), Honey, Water, Salt, Yeast”. On a side note, does this also mean that the honey is refined?
Do I have to eat six times a day with the diet solution? I am forward deployed in Kuwait and the meals are provided at regular times. and they frown on taking food from the dining facility. I will do it but I dont want to if I do not have to.
Isabel, I have read your articles and think they are all great. Could you recommend a quality detox cleanser for the body since there is so many on the market. I am confused as to which ones work the best with the least amount of side affects. thanks
hey i like these tips but i have a question. I like to eat bread, pasta, granolas and rice in my diet but i really want to lose weight (10 or 15 lbs) so do u suggest to cut them out? whats ur best advice for me? tips?
Pri, you can read more about the DSP’s stance on grains in the manual – there is a great deal of in depth information in the Grains chapter.
Dear Isabel,
I live in Europe so we don’t eat all the foods that you do. I am a teenager and I was a little fat, so I thought to start a diet. It is a way that I eat, not exactly a diet. I don’t eat sweets and I eat just a slice of bread in my breakfast “recipe”. I also started exercising about 4-5 times/ week. In a month I lost 5 kilos, but nobody notice it (just my parents that tell me to eat more). I used to drink milk and eat a lot of dairy products, until I found your website (about 2 days ago). I really wanted to ask you about milk and eggs. I buy milk and eggs from a farmer, so the cow and the hen are eating just grass. About cheese, i buy it from a small organic farm. Is it okay to eat those or do I need to stop eating dairy products and eggs? And what do you say about corn and corn flakes?
Thank you!
Eggs are a great thing to be eating! I don’t recommend drinking milk, but if you need to, organic and unpasteurized is the way to go. Cutting out dairy products altogether works best for some people, but it all depends on how your body responds to it. I’d suggest staying away from all cereals (even Cornflakes), and for more info about corn, read my blog post here: http://www.thedietsolutionprogram.com/blog/the-truth-about-corn/.
Moris, you can read more about why I don’t recommend eating wheat in the Grains section of the DSP manual.
Isabelle,
I started on my own a healthy eating before I found your http://www.TheDietSolutionProgram.com. You are so good and know your subject very well. I read a lot of books and web pages of other CN. Thank you for helping many people to eat healthy and loose weight.
I shared this web page with my friends and co-workers. Most what I was doing you recomend in your book and web page. In February 2010 I lost 39 LB in three weeks by eating healthy organic food, eliminating sugar and processed food, reducing starch and wheat to minimum and walking for one hour every day.
Only difference is I eat more berries than fruits and eat them in the morning, veggie eat afternoon. I do not like stevia and do not use it, just use berries and fruits and dark chocolate (little square) as sugar cravings.
Other difference is I eat organic dairy products as 1% milk, raw cheese, organic LAC yogurt and kefir and sourcream.
I went from 184 LB to 145 LB from size 12 to 4-6. I love it. It is easy to keep up. I do not starve, eat good food. Only more expensive.
Thank you for your hard work trying to help people eat healthy. Tatyana
Hi Isabel:
I am 47 years old and have tried nearly all weight loss approaches from starving to insane workouts. Over the past 5 years my weight settled in at 138 and would not budge more than a pound or 2 despite heroic efforts. I have done your program now for 5 days and have lost 5 pounds – I’m stunned. Based on your Metabolic Type test – I turned out to be a Protein Type (I need to eat often!) Keys for me: more water; no diet drink mixes; and no bread (ouch). But the increased energy and dramatic loss make it worth it – I’m a convert. Question for you – 1) coffee with Milk – hard ot get organic in NYC (but my favorite part of the day ; and 2) what about protein shakes – are they too full of chemicals in your view?
Kristina, I’m so glad you are enjoying the DSP! If you can’t find organic milk, maybe you could try almond milk? If you absolutely have to have regular milk, use as little as possible. As for protein shakes, I really wouldn’t recommend using them. I would recommend Prograde protein powder though.
Valuable information and excellent design you got here! I would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts and time into the stuff you post!!
It’s a very useful info included in the article. I always enjoy good reading.
I definitely agree with your 3 tips in losing excess fat. Good job!
My favorite food is cheese, so it there any alternative like a specific kind of cheese or somehing that i could eat instead of pasteurized cheese? Thank you!
Jessica, raw organic cheese is the way to go – unpasteurized dairy is the best kind.
