I am on the plan worked really well first 3 week, my body seems to object to be starved of the good stuff. I go down to a number so the trick for me now is to get below it.
I have to agree with the ‘feeling better after following the diet solution program’ statement. Actually if I slip back and eat a sweet roll or other kind of junk food, I now get a headache. I also get tired, have a loss of energy if I eat unhealthy food. I do have to say it has been a bit difficult to follow the program EXACTLY. Eating out is a challenge and when my husband had surgery, I went to the hospital cafeteria for lunch and found it difficult to find healthy food to eat there! I was faced with the SAD diet (Standard American Diet) which is loaded with fried food, sugar and processed white flour. I am still learning how to find and purchase the healthiest food. As a nurse and one who has had a lifelong interest in nutrition, I am CONVINCED that diet is primary in the prevention of chronic illness.
I been following Isabela’s Diet Solution since May of this year and have lost 20 lbs and 1 1/2 inches off of every area of my body.
I have been a Fibromyalsia and chronic fatigue sufferer for ten years. There were days I was in so much pain, and so incrediably fatigued, that I couldn’t even pull myself off the couch to help my 3 year old daughter. I spent hundreds of dollars on worthless nutritional supplements and took 4-6 medicines a day to curve my symptoms. I remained athletic, but it was always at a cost. PAIN and FATIGUE. Nothing ever really worked.
I didn’t know at the time, but in addition to losing the weight, my body began healing itself from my fibromyalsia and fatigue. Since starting Isabela’s program my symptoms have significantly decreased. I no longer am exhausted, nor do I hit that wall of afternoon fatigue. I feel better now than I have in 10 years. For my fellow sufferers, PLEASE, really and truly try this program. Give it a month! I gaurantee that you will feel better and virtually eliminate your need for medication. BTW,” ABSOLUTE “MUST DO,” IS TO STOP ARTIFICAL SWEETNERS AND DIET SODAS.” NO more excuses, your worth more than that!
On a personal note, Isabela, your video was as if I was talking myself. I don’t feel deprived, and I too eat delicious food. I no longer crave the the foods that have poisoned me for years. I thank God, for your wisdom and forever life changing advice. I am telling everyone about your solution! I have to.. they won’t stop asking what I am doing to look so great (:
Always Thankful,
Christy McKee
P.S. My friend who “went in,” on this journey with me has also lost just as much as me. We both feel great!
do you have a “clinic” where a group of us can go, say, for a week, to get a jump start on learning and doing the program? i learn best by doing.
Hi Isabel,
Last week I was in face book and your website pop up add showed, I watched your video and did very much loved your program. I was pleased to know that you are aware of all the preservatives chemicals that are in the food we eat. That is very bad news to us all.
A year ago, I join the Wildtree Company that specializes in all natural food products with no additives or preservatives. I become a representative for this company. I am doing great and building my customer base.
Please let me tell you about myself; I’m a 52 years woman with two great sons who are serving in our armed forces. I was under tremendous amount of stress during their deployment in various times to Afghanistan and Iraq. At the same time I was going through the menopause period. This did not help my situation and I did gain almost 50 pound.
A year ago I was invited to a Wildtree all natural food tasting party. It was great and I loved their products. Since then, I have been cooking healthy and very much determined to lose all extra pounds I gained.
I did very much like what you have to offer in your book and I’m planning to fallow your steps and instruction to be in top physical shape again.
I would like very much if you could visit my website to check out the Wildtree all natural product. Please let me know if I could post my website note in your face book. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Please keep in touch, My best Regards

I am doing well! Working out hard at the gym too! Wish I was seeing better results. I want to lose 100 pounds. I am eating very organically and not touching milk, white rice. I made the Shepards Pie and my husband loved it with hot sauce. I love the butter chicken recipe. The quinoa cookies were okay .
thanks for all your words of encouragement!

Isabel – this is exactly how I feel. I’ve been on DSP since March and as of today, have lost 53 lbs. I never feel “deprived” never “starving” I’m eating good, fresh, wholesome food – and enough to keep me satisfied. Thank you, thank you…you’ve changed my life-style of eating and made me healthier and happier.

This is great, ISabel. And thank you for sharing. The thing I have to ask is this: it wasn’t very hard for me to get onto this healthier diet, because over the past couple of years I had been making adjustments to my diet eliminating lots of unhealthy savoury food. My weakness, however, is desserts! And there aren’t really any substitutes for it in the Diet Solutions. I know they’re probably what’s hindering my weight loss, but I have a sweet tooth. So what do I do to substitute unhealthy desserts with (dare I say it?) healthy ones?
Isabel, for years I’ve been the ‘chubby’ one in my family. I have been eating organic, wholesome food for the last five years – I believe in full fat natural products over processed and knew i was healthy just carrying too much weight. This program of yours made sense to me – and now – with just a small shift in the portions (I’m protein and was eating a carb type diet) my body is righting itself. Every couple of months I measure and a cm has gone from my waist. I’m feeling great, starting to look great and I can not thank you enough. You are right – it is not a diet at all, it is just sensible eating for your body.
Hi Isabel…Just want to say your dsp is the best !! I started the dsp around the middle of may I think and started out at 288 Lbs and as of today Im 242 Lbs I can’t believe it! I feel great my feet and knee’s feel great too lol. My goal is 185 Lbs and with the dsp I know I will make it!!. Thank’s your new freind Dave Kearney. PS the extra motivational tip’s and video’s are a bonus and inspiration, thank’s again.
Wondering if stevia diet sodas are okay?
Hello Isabel,
I, like many of your DSP followers, am thrilled with a new found energy and weight loss.
I have been on your program for nearly four mounths and have lost 20 pounds. Still working with a little belly fat, but have gone from a size 12 down to a size 8. I’m 61 years old and have recommended your program to everyone I know!
One of my favorite treets is air popped popcorn with coconut oil and sea salt. It satisfies all cravings.
Using stevia has been an easy transition, eliminating sugar from my diet.
Thank you so much for your shared knowledge and for being such an inspiration.
Sandy
Hi Isabel, I have purchased your program on line. It is the best program I have ever seen. I have been studying about food and health and my body seriously for at least 2 years now. I have a hard time reading all of the information because I don’t have lots of time. I would love to have it all printed out and take with me wherever I go. I want to start this school year with this program for me and my kids and my husband. I want them to establish a better lifestyle. We do pretty well now, but we have areas we need to improve on. i haven’t losst any weight yet but I am healthier mentally and emotionally and I can leave the sugar alone now most of the time. Thank you for all that you do. Is your printed version all of the information or is it just a part of it? Thanks again, Penny
I too Noticed that when i Have something sweet Like a A sobe green tea I got a headache from that This Diet Solutions Program is The Best thing that Has ever happened to my health. My husband and I are doing this Plan together. My husband us a Mixed type and I am a protein type. This is The Answer to our Weight loss struggle. I started out at 246 pounds Before the diet Solutions Program I am now 242.5 Pounds. We started the diet solutions Program a few days ago and I went from a size 26 wide to a 24 wide Which the 24 wides are fitting lose almost to lose
My husband Started out at 280 pounds he is now at 278 pounds
I felt great when I was eating the Diet Solutions plan but did not lose weight. Any suggestions? I wonder if since I am 47 my metabolism is stuck?
I am at least 30 pound over weight so you would think I could at least drop a fast 10 pounds.
Isabelle, your diet solution is very informative and I have reduced my body weight by 38 lbs since I used your information. I began on May 30th and have invented my own recipes that suits what is available in our rural area.
Your video was ok, but I think that if you had a few props such as pieces of fruit or veg or anyhing, it would make things more fun and less boring to watch. If you view your video, you’ll notice how frequently you shake your head left to right, and gesture with your hands. Sorry for pointing this out but I do that scope of work so of course I can’t help but focus on that. Regardless, I have lost weight in a comfortable way and will continue to follow your food choice advice. Thanks, and I hope you don’t get pissed at me for my comments.
Hi Isabel,
. At 59 years old I resigned myself to the fact that my body had changed and I was going to be carrying around extra weight. Today I am 156. All this in less than 90 days, fact is in 8 weeks, I lost the bulk of my weight. Others mention how great they feel when they start eating the right food, I am no exception. You will start to feel great and have more energy than ever before. My blood pressure dropped dramatically, no joint pain anymore.
I just had to send you a note and thank you for the DSP, I am so very grateful !! My wife ordered your program (thank you Karon) and thought I might like to try it, I reviewed the food choices and to my surprise it included all the things I already liked, I just did not know “how” to eat properly. In April I was 199 maybe I hit the “2″ number, but I would not look
Again, thank you so much for putting this information together to help others eat healthy.
Tom
Isabel : Now starting my third week and have lost 14 pounds so far. Thats Great. have not been able to lose weight for years. I am never hungary and losing is great for my health. I am 67 years old and in good health but 80 lbs over weight. I take no drugs but just drink my Japanese alkaline water and take my food supplements as always. Hope to give you more good news as I progress towards my goal to lose 80 lbs.
Jack
I am 52 years old and was finding myself gaining more weight as the years went on. We have tried to eat heathly and teach our children good principles of nutrition. Your books were great and put everything I thought I knew into one source. I love your view on dairy products and good fats. After taking the metobolic test I realized I was not eating enough protien. Since March I have lost 32 pounds and my body is small. I lost the fat off of my stomach and legs. This is an area that no matter what I did, I always had the belly fat. But now it is gone!!! I look younger and feel even younger. Thanks for your wisdom. I am sharing with everyone I know. THANKS
Hi Isabel, I enjoy receiving your emails quite a bit. Your DSP sounds quite rewarding; however, I’m a bit skeptical. My husband and I are vegetarians, well let me clarify that, we do now eat fish and seafood, but NO meat whatsoever… not even chicken or turkey. Therefore, my concern and question is whether or not the DSP might be something to consider and whether or not it’s beneficial for us. How about when we entertain and/or have to cook for our children and friends at holidays or parties as we normally do… will they continue to enjoy the festivities as usual? For me it’s not so much as the weight loss (although I have about 8-10 lbs. to loose at the moment ) which I’ve gained in the last two years and can’t seem to get rid of it completely; however, what I’m looking for is a healthier way of eating without sacrificing taste and the enjoyment of food. I’ve tried the Almond Butter, don’t like it. You also suggest Coconut Oil, and I don’t like coconut and my husband is allergic. Does your program suggest alternatives or substitutions for certain ingredients etc.? Last but not least, where can I purchase your DSP? Thank you!
I’ve ordered the plan but not really started it. Do you answer questions from people? I just need to get with it.
Mary, I answer questions on here. You can also check out the DSP Facebook page though – along with answers from me, you can get answers and support from your fellow DSP members: http://www.facebook.com/thedietsolution
Isabel…I have been doing some of the elements of DSP on my own for several years, but have never seen such a great integrated program…thanks! I’m ready to incorporate the rest of your great advice, but am wondering about nut butters. I have been told by another nutritionist that nut butters actually put a sticky coating on the inside of your intestines and don’t allow other nutrients to be absorbed and can cause long term damage and even a ‘blow out’ of the intestinal wall. Your thoughts? Thanks for your insight! Laura
Laura, I have never heard that about nut butters. Raw almond butter is one of my favorite foods – I love eating it on an apple for a healthy and delicious snack!
It’s good to see this sort of advice for free on the Internet; there are so many scams out there that have desperate people paying extortionate amounts with the promise of instant weight loss/health improvements.
I love you story. I’m trying to loose some weight myself and I love hearing stories of other doing it. It really encourages me.
dear,isable
i live in iran.how can i get youre diet?
thank you
Mozhgan, the DSP is a set of downloadable e-books, so you can access it from anywhere in the world! Just visit http://www.thedietsolutionprogram.com to order!
Hi Isabel.
It definitely sounds like your plan is the right way to go to be healthy and loose weight. I need to do something. But, I am such a picky eater. I hate most vegetables. I like salads, apples, oranges, eggs, meat. I also do not like seafood (salmon) So I worry that I will not be able to stick with this. Any advice? I have always been picky. Help!
Great program. This one really works!
Great information! I was overweight at one time as well. Definitely choosing the right foods and portions are key. Thank you for sharing.
Marlon
Thanks Isabel,
I’ve been using the DSP since August and just drilled another hole in by belt. My weight still hovers around 240, but I generally feel better. I also have encountered some issues that might be of interest.
R.O. WATER at a gallon a day. I don’t have to buy it in bottles, but it’s about as active as distilled. I was told that a lot of it can leach the minerals out of your cells and deposit them in the bloodstream.
I also heard some good things about sodium bicarbonate, so I pop a 10 grain pill of it in my gallon bottle of RO water in the fridge, and that raises the PH a notch. (any comments ?)
Can’t find bread without wheat as the first ingredient, and the frozen breads just don’t taste that good. I’d love to have a fresh slice of Multigrain Tuscany Bread from the Giant Eagle Bakery now and then. The taste and texture are to die for.
Dairy product substitutes for me start with Blue Diamond Almond Breeze. Just don’t think the six month shelf life they stamp on it applies to after it’s opened. A few weeks in the fridge can form some interesting pudding lumps, and any contamination that gets in the container can grow like wildfire on its rich nutrients. I love the almond vanilla flavor on cold cereals and hot Quaker oatmeal.
I heard that complete elimination of dairy products soon leads to lactose intolerance. (ugh) So I still sneak a slice or two of cheese now and then. Also my coffee creamer is still Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel by International Delight.
Other than the above little quirks I have followed the guidance of the DSP in rebuilding my nutritional strategy. I greatly value the hard work, professional experience and intelligence you have put into this program.
Best regards,
Charlie
Your program is very different and works better than anything I have seen anywhere.
I am starting week 4 of this wonderful food plan and have to say I do feel much better physically and mentally. I have a number of health issues that I am working on and all have improved so far. I have lost nearly 10 pounds and have every intention of making this plan my life eating pattern. I will soon begin trying out your recipes. I am never bored and always sated on the plan. Also, I do agree that with a little planning all of it falls into place. Like eating out. I especially like that we are all encouraged to personalize our plans so that they agree with our bodies.. We all have foods that just do not agree with our very personal constitutions! I can’t tolerate wheat products and am sensitive to sugary foods. I love listening to you talk on your own personal experiences. Thanks so much! Christine
Hello, I am a skeptic by nature, but even more so when it comes to “lose insane weight now” and “miracle diet” taglines. I NEVER believe something the first time I hear it, especially when someone benefits directly from it. I ALWAYS look at the motivation. For example, if you recommend a product for which you get a sales commission, I will flat-out dismiss your words. If I research that product, however, and others who do not benefit from my sale say the same thing, then you have my attention. In fact, the only reason I even purchased the flat belly solution material (even with the rave reviews) was because of the 100% money back guarantee. I knew that if it were bunk, I could get my money back and go on with life.
So after reading the Flat Belly Solution material multiple times and scouring the website for the past week and verifying everything I read, I believe Isabel knows what she is talking about (most of what she teaches I have learned from two other independent sources as well) and am ready to try it. I still have reservations about her product recommendations, as I am not 100% convinced that commission is not the driving factor for the recommendation, but I will reserve that judgment for a later time since it does not detract from the principles she teaches.
Through a change in eating habits and exercise independent of the Flat Belly Solution, I have lost over 50 lbs. since about the summer of 2009. Around the fall of 2010, I hit a plateau that I have been unable to break through. What I realize now is that I implemented a lot of Isabel’s teachings before even reading her material. That is, I got rid of all processed foods and excess sugar (i.e. sweets, cookies, cakes). I exercised quite frequently (throughout the summer and fall, I was playing competitive soccer at least 4-5 times per week, along with doing Zumba twice a week). But I was still lacking in other areas of her teachings. That is, I was eating wheat products and products with sugar (daily I would eat homemade parfaits for breakfast not realizing how much sugar is in granola). I did not know about metabolism types, so I was more carb focused instead of balanced meals. And while I love vegetables, I have a real hard time eating/liking fruits. I would feel guilty about that and try to eat more fruits (I realize now why it’s so hard for me to eat fruits, as I have tested overwhelmingly as protein type).
So here I am 33 years old, 5′ 8.5″, and 167 lbs. I am athletic and practice Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) at least 5 times per week. I will play more soccer and get out to do more active things once the weather improves, but I am still at this plateau that I cannot cross. I am looking to get down to about 150 lbs. I use the word “about” because I am not as concerned with my weight as I am with the size of my hips and thighs. I currently look like a pear and would love to look like Isabel while maintaining my athleticism and strength for soccer and BJJ.
As of about a week ago, I started REALLY implementing Isabel’s teachings and have been paying more attention to my food (I started 2.5 weeks ago but only implemented a few changes until I could confirm what she taught). While I haven’t lost 9 lbs. like others have, I do feel better. My weight has not changed yet, nor do I expect it to in such a short amount of time, but I notice that I require less sleep during the night and I have more energy to get more done. Also, after COMPLETELY removing sugar from my diet, I absolutely do NOT crave it anymore.
Grains are a little bit more tricky. I have been the past few weeks without any grains whatsoever except oatmeal, but I just craved bread a lot. I have recently (yesterday) tried the Ezekiel bread and I love it. I believe this will take care of my cravings. Unfortunately, my real weakness is, and always will be, milk. I am a dairy freak. While I have drastically reduced my dairy intake, I do not know if I can get rid of it altogether. The least I can do is go organic.
So this is my last hurdle, the home stretch of the race. I believe I am on the right path and am confident I will lose my remaining weight soon. More importantly, I am looking forward to being and REMAINING healthy for the rest of my life.
THIS IS REALLY AN EYE OPENER. IT WILL BE GREAT IF A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE ACCESS TO THIS EXPERIENCE. IT WILL DO MUCH GOOD THAN TRYING THE SEVERAL SUFFERING SYSTEMS AROUND. KUDOS ISABELL
Although Stevia comes from a plant is this considered an “artificial” sweetener because it is now being mass produced by large companies and we don’t really know what we are getting? Also is coffee ok?
Carmen, purchase stevia from Steviva (www.stevivasweetener.com) – it’s all natural from them! Coffee is okay.. it’s the things most people add to it that you need to be careful about. Also, keep it to a maximum of 2 cups a day.
