Delicious Chocolate Pudding…DSP Style!
Chocolate? Did Isabel really just say chocolate?
Oh yes I did and, not only that, it’s healthy too!
I got this delicious chocolate recipe from my good friend Mike Geary (author of The Truth About Abs).
Here’s Mike’s recipe for an amazingly healthy fat burning chocolate pudding that’s high in fiber, healthy fats, protein and low in sugar, with NO artificial sweeteners and NO added sugars.
Mike Geary’s Healthy Chocolate Pudding
(This recipe will make about 2-3 servings and is a great healthy dessert or late night snack.)
Ingredients
1/2 of a ripe avocado (soft to touch)
approx 3 tablespoons of almond butter (preferably raw if possible)
approx 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
2 heaping tablespoons of organic cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1 or 2 packets of stevia (or to your desired sweetness level)
1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop of chocolate protein powder
just a small pinch of salt
Directions
Put the avocado and almond butter into a bowl and mash together with a fork until smooth. Then add all of the other ingredients into the bowl and mix together vigorously until all is mixed and smooth.
If everything went right, the consistency will be similar to pudding… except normal pudding makes you FAT with loads of sugar! My healthy pudding recipe will actually HELP you to burn fat, control cravings, and satisfy your body’s need for micro-nutrients, protein, healthy fats, and fiber.
If the pudding ends up too thick, simply add a bit more almond milk or coconut milk for more moisture.
If you want to get a little wild and add some more nutrient-rich additions, feel free to add some chopped pecans, chia seeds, rice bran, or walnuts at the end.

If you dip sliced apples or moist strawberries in the chocolate powder they will be a special treat….Enjoy!!!
I made chocolate “pudding” with Greek yogurt, chocolate powder, xylitol and a little chocolate extract. I really loved it!

Fighting the sweet cravings is difficult so this sounded swell. I find chocolate interferes with insomnia and migraine treatments so perhaps before 3:00 and very infrequently. Canadian company, Immunocal Inc. makes some of the best whey protein isolate form powders.
I have bought the protein powder recommended by Isabel and want to know if I can use it in the morning instead of meat and eggs everyday… I normally have fruit and yogurt (i have since ordered some raw milk from local suppliers) so I would like to have a protein shake made from raw milk and then some fruit. Is that DSP approved??
It sounds really good.Try it with bananna’s to.I am going to try it.
The first batch I made was too bitter so I tried it again with no stevia and its still too bitter…Not sure what I did wrong…What can I do to make it right?
I realy don’t like stevia or any other type of sweetener. I have dropped surger from my diet and replaced it with pure honey. aand I have a great resipe for home made icecream but I don’t know if it is aloud. but it is all natural i whip real cream with honey and real cocoa powder but you can use vinela insted oof cocoa. you can make any flaver you want. I haave used rasberries it does not matter but you must whip the cream add your favoret flavor sweeten with honey then freeze for 24 hours and it is a wonderful treat . sorry I don’t messure wwhen I cook I maake everything to teaste. I would realy like to know if useing honey is ok instead of stevia?

I’ve been looking for the type of chocolate bar Isabel recommends. My chocolate craving usually hits in the mid-afternoon and I want to just be able to grab a few squares fast. Does anyone know the brand she suggests?
Is Herbalife Protein powder ok to use?it contains soya in their formula.
