Beth, I usually don’t recommend protein shakes of any kind, but the chocolate protein powder used in this shake is made with raw milk that comes from grass-fed cows and is processed at low temperatures. It also has NO artificial sweeteners or ingredients. This protein powder is completely DSP-approved! That’s why I’m okay with this particular protein shake :)

too much air and not nearly cold enough. I just use 1 scoop in 8 ounces raw milk, and a touch of raw heavy cream and shake in a glass jar. Far more tasty and digestible.

    Hey Isabel,
I was wondering, what do you think of the protein shake Mix1? It states that it’s all natural, but I wanted to know your opinion

Is there any other brand of protein powder you recommend? Due to time constraints in the morning, I want/need to replace 3 breakfasts per week with a protein shake/drink and a piece of fruit. I’d like to have more than one brand of protein powder as an option.

Kiana, mix1 contains cane sugar, cane juice, and juice concentrate – all things I would suggest staying away from.

Ok Thank You! All of these sugars are so confusing. I cant tell whether or not its healthy, even when it states that its “organic”

Vaishali, if you can send me some information about EAS protein, I can give you a more complete answer. As for now, I really only recommend Prograde protein if you are going to use any at all.

is it o.k. to eat bake bean”s,i have them every morning.just luv em.

Peter, whether or not baked beans are okay to eat depends on the ingredients in the particular ones you are eating. Chances are, if you’re eating them from a can, there are some kind of preservatives that I would suggest staying away from. However, if you are making them yourself, they might be okay.

I was wondering what you thought about the Arbonne protien shakes?

Bethany, I really only recommend Prograde protein powder to make your shakes. I don’t typically suggest using any kind of supplement in place of real food, but Prograde is a company I trust because I know exactly what goes into their products.

I am reading peanuts (raw or roasted) are dangerous due to them containing Aflatoxin. Do you recommend to stay away from peanuts and any peanut butter?

I am addicted to diet soda and have been drinking about 120 ounces daily for at least 15 years. I also have wheat bread daily and cold cereal with skim milk every morning, With sugar free jam that has been sweetened with nutra sweet. It seems like I am doing everything wrong. Talk about discouraging. So I am interested in your plan and it makes total sense to me. Is skim milk what I should still purchase? Or what is your thoughts on dairy?

Isabel, when you click on the chocolate protein powder link above, it goes to a Next Fitness Evolution website, not Progrades….please clarify if this product is what you recommend or is it an incorrect link.

    Thanks!
