Converting Keywords

Let me stop you in your tracks before you ask me for “converting keywords”.

• First of all, I really don’t have them.
• Secondly, each ad and set of keywords you use will convert differently on each network.
• Thirdly, you want to create less competition for yourself by seeing what keywords work for you.

There are a lot of keyword tools out there, many which cost money, but the google keyword tool is free and is a good starting point here:

Pixel or Tracking Snippet

If you would like a pixel or a tracking snippet placed for your campaign please email the following to: affiliates@thedietsolutionrprogram.com:

• tracking snippet or pixel code
• Your Clickbank ID (Nickname)

PPV and CPV

I have tried these types of media before and have had no luck, so unless you really know what you are doing, I suggest you steer clear of this type of media

When Hoplinks are Not Accepted

Not all ad networks will accept a hoplink, one that comes to mind is Bing. What I suggest you do is purchase a domain from someone like godaddy. It can even be a .info domain that costs about a buck. I just looked up monsterdiet.info on godaddy and it cost $.89. You can then use their forwarding feature to set your new .info domain to forward to your hoplink. Furthermore, they will provide you with the ability to create subdomains on your domain. You can then create juice.monsterdiet.info and link to our article about juice using the instructions for hoplinks here.

When Pages are Not Accepted
Sometimes an ad network will not like our video sales page for some reason. I’ve heard some interesting requirements. Please check the hoplinks page here to see if you can find a sales video page that meets your requirements. If you can’t find one, please send an email to affiliates@thedietsolutionprogram.com and I’ll see what I can do to create something that meets your criteria.

Potential Ad Networks

Google

We love Google and they are certainly the biggest ad network out there. That being said they are also the most saturated. In addition they are not very trusting of anything “diet”, no matter how much integrity we have, and they like to turn our traffic on and off like a light switch. I have compiled a list of other networks below. If you can master making money on networks other than Google, you’ll be a King (or Queen) of the Internet Marketing World without question.

There are certainly even more ad networks than what I have listed here, but this should give you a good start to look into.

Over the past year with the DSP I have learned so much about traffic and conversion

that isn’t so free, but I have found worth while. I understand that you only have so much
time in your day to learn new things, and even though you do need to be continuously
learning it would be easier if someone said, read this or use this.

For SEO I recommend signing up for the StomperNet newsletter at www.stomperblog.com – I’m not sure they still do this, but i received a 7 day video e-course for signing up and it really laid out the basics of SEO better than any thing i had paid for in the past.

For basic blogging – check out this video from Tim Ferriss – How To Build A Successful Blog – and if you don’t know who Tim Ferriss is then go read “The Four Hour Work Week”

If you’re doing blogging I suggest getting a wordpress blog, then getting the free version of Jeff Johnson’s plugins (I have not used his other stuff, and cannot attest to it, but the free stuff for signing up is good enough for beginners) – www.undergroundtraininglab.com
